The Big Lake Hive is opening a practice to the public! All kids ages 6–18 are welcome to participate. This event is free, and no experience is needed. If you’re unsure about joining the team, this is the perfect opportunity to check it out.

We have three dates scheduled. Each practice will be held in the Independence Elementary gym from 4:00–6:00

The Big Lake Hive Cheerleading Team is open for registration! We are so excited to kick off our 5th season here in the Big Lake Area. Our team is open to all children ages 6-18, regardless of experience level. We are hoping to start at the end of July! Practice days and times are still to be determined. This year will be the fourth year that the Big Lake Hive Cheerleading Association will participate in the Spud Fest Parade. It costs $40 to cheer, and it includes the shirt, bow, and dinner after practice. Practice will be on June 22nd from 4 pm to 8 pm at Lake Ridge Park. The cheerleaders will learn a dance with some chants.
